Virtual ADHD and Autism Adult Evaluations

An Affirming & Liberation-Centered Approach to Adult Evaluations

What are the Benefits of a Formal Diagnosis?

Who May Benefit from an Evaluation?

You may benefit from an ADHD and/or Autism evaluation if you:

  • Feel overwhelmed with organization, planning, and time management

  • Can't slow down, even when you're exhausted

  • Experience sensory overload and trouble regulating emotions

  • Feel exhausted and burned out from hiding your differences

  • Have difficulty interpreting social interactions

Many adults pursue evaluations after a child, sibling, or partner receives a diagnosis and they begin recognizing similar patterns in their own lives.

A professional evaluation can be beneficial for:

  • Greater clarity and validation

  • Obtaining workplace accommodations

  • Securing educational accommodations

  • Documentation for support services

  • A deeper understanding of lifelong challenges and strengths

  • To revisit being previously misdiagnosed or misunderstood

Why Work With Me?

As a Latina, neurodivergent therapist with expertise in supporting the BIPOC community, I bring a perspective shaped by lived experience. My evaluations center historically overlooked populations—women and girls, Black communities, LGBTQ+ individuals, people of color, and high-achievers—who are often misdiagnosed, undiagnosed, or dismissed as having character flaws.

I use a neurodiversity-affirming, liberation-centered approach: viewing ADHD, autism, and other neurodivergent ways of thinking as natural brain variations—not something to fix—while helping you break free from the bias and discrimination that have shaped how you've been diagnosed, treated, and seen.

What Does the Evaluation Process Look Like?

Step 1: Initial Session - Psychosocial Evaluation & Intake

  • Complete consent forms and intake paperwork

  • Discuss your history—relationships, school experiences, and stories others have shared about you

  • Get oriented to the evaluation process and ask any questions

Step 5: Build Your Support Plan

  • Identify who you want on your health and treatment team

  • Explore personalized recommendations and resources

  • Discuss continuing therapy together or coaching to support you as you integrate and apply your results

Step 2: Complete Surveys Between Sessions

  • Complete evidence-based assessment measures (quantitative and qualitative)

  • These help capture patterns related to ADHD, Autism, and sensory experiences

  • Multiple tools are used together for a fuller picture—no single survey tells the whole story

Step 3: Review Results & Begin Processing

  • Review your survey results together

  • Begin processing what the results reveal about your patterns and experiences

  • Start connecting findings to your lived experience

Step 4: Report Review & Feedback

  • Review your full report (13–15 pages, with tables and graphs of ADHD/Autism traits) together before it's finalized

  • Ask questions, request changes, and share any thoughts that arose

  • Walk away with a clear, validating picture of your neurotype
